CNAC wins Arabian Horse Times Event of the Year

The feeling of winning the Arabian Horse Times Readers Choice Award for  "Event of the Year"  was the culmination of a dream that became reality. With only two and half months to find a facility and plan a National show that had the look and feel of a true Nationals,  was without question  a daunting task.

Many doubted that it could be done and truly  at times seemed like an impossible feat to even try to take on, but........

Never count out an underdog with determination, grit and drive !

The team of volunteers and sponsors that were assembled to put on a show that was uniquely Canadian managed and owned, turned out to be one of the most electrifying events Canada had seen in many years within the Arabian Horse community..

Exhibitors that travelled to Red Deer, Alberta from as far away as Michigan, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington  and Western  Canada were treated to a unique display of camaraderie and hospitality.

On finals night, there was not a dry eye in the house as emotions were overflowing as Canada claimed back its National Show.

The recognition from our peers at the AHT Readers Choice Awards was truly heartwarming.  It was a  testament to the genuine heart and character of the volunteers who banded together to make dreams come true for exhibitors from all over North America.

Thank you to Lara Ames and the AHT staff for all they have done and continue to do for Canada! We accept this award with humility and gratitude and endeavour to continue to improve the show each and every year.

Respectfully,

The Directors of the National Arabian Breed Society
